This is a delightful vegan version of the probiotic drink you know with 30-50 strains of healthy bacteria and wild yeast (the good kind), just to add a little more variety to your beverage repertoire. Traditionally, kvass was a russian peasant drink full of plenty of lactobacilli cultures and made from rye berries — great to fortify the blood and your body.
